The Musicians on the CD

The personnel in the band when the CD was produced was a little different from the current lineup, although if you like how we sound now, you will also enjoy this CD. Ken Murray, our very talented bass player and lead singer moved to Texas to get away from the hustle of LA. Keith and Mark have also moved on to other bands, but the quality of their musicianship on this CD is totally first rate. Try some of the samples above and you'll see what we mean. Here's the lineup that put together the CD.

	KEN MURRAY Stand-up and Electric Bass, Lead Vocals Over 30 years of blues experience. As a front man, Ken can play to any crowd from a biker bar to a wedding party, keeping the patter entertaining and appropriate for the crowd. Ken's polished, professional vocals lead the way backed up by a driving bass beat on both electric and stand-up bass. Played with: Big Joe Turner, Gregg Allman, T-bone Walker, Chuck Berry, Joe Houston and many others. His influences include Joe Turner, Louis Prima and Muddy Waters.
	KEITH WORRELL Guitar, Harmonica and Lead Vocals Over 30 years of nothing but the blues. Worked the road with Bob Welch of “Ebony Eyes” fame, Rick James, Lori Davidson Group, and many more over the years. Master of the slide guitar, powerful silky voice and hard biting leads gives any audience a night to remember. His influences are Peter Green, Mick Taylor, BB King, Paul Butterfield.
	MARK CARLL Guitar, Backup vocals 30 plus years of solid guitar experience. Has appeared with bands like Chris Cain, Johnny Dyer, Little Charlie and the Nightcats, The James Harman Band, Doug MacLeod, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Charlie Musselwhite, Lynnwood Slim and many more. His style mixes stinging Strat and mellow, inventive hollow-body guitar solos. Influences range from Jimi Hendrix to Wes Montgomery.
	CRAIG LIBUSE Piano, Organ, Backup vocals “The Boogieman” has been playing boogie woogie piano for over 40 years starting at the age of 12. He’s no stranger to the 88’s. Played with 2000 Pounds of Blues, Hank Deluxe and the Elbowbenders, L.A. Jones, Joe Houston, Johnny Dyer. Influences: Pete Johnson, Albert Ammons, Little Brother Montgomery, Mary Lou Williams, Otis Spann, Johnny Johnson.
	JOE HUGHES Drums Grew up in a musical family. His mother played in her own jump, boogie, swing band, and all of his brothers also have their own bands at this time. Recorded his first record at the age of 16. Played with numerous projects such as Big Band, Country, Rock and Blues. He has played at the Original Crazy Horse, BB King’s, Irvine Meadows, many television appearances. Recently Joe has backed up blues legends Finis Tasby and Deacon Jones (both longtime John Lee Hooker sidemen) and Johnny Tucker. Joe’s diversified drumming compliments his fellow musicians and you are guaranteed a good time with the swing, jump, blues and boogie they will unleash.
